Future Simple vs "Going to" Future. Week 10

The video takes care to explain the differences by using the simple future and "Going to" future. The simple future, is formulated in a pronoun + auxiliary "will" + verb + complement; it is used to express an event that is probably occur and also used to make decisions in the moment it is spoken. The "Going to" future is used to express a certain action happens in the future and also to discuss decisions taken before the time in which it is spoken. The video also explains the use of "shall" for gradually phased "will" in more formal settings and the use of "gonna" rather than "going to" in informal contexts.
