The English language as a tool for professional and personal growth, represents an important element in the development of modern worker and student.
During the second period of 2015, I enrolled the course of English I, the expectation was reinforce concepts (especially grammar), today can successfully claim that this goal was met in full.
The course allowed review important and basic tenses such as: the simple present, simple past, present progressive, past progressive, the future with the auxiliary "will" and "going to"; Besides this, comparative and superlative adjectives are analyzed when put in balance two elements. One aspect that was of great teaching, was practicing the pronunciation of regular verbs in the past.
Is satisfactory, observe the dynamics of learning course at the University; how to develop writing through E-magazines was extraordinary. Importantly, the fact of making different "feeback" with classmates and teacher is quite valuable in contributing to the full growth of language.
In full week 14 of the course, I can highlight a dynamic development in thinking in this language; now, I think I can deal easier in different contexts when to speak or pretend to speak with someone fluent in English.
The projects in the course were of great value in acquiring technical vocabulary in the language. These projects allowed generating approach to the reality of life in today's society. Personally, the best project was the entertainment, but the project No. 4 concerning modern day slavery; It was the one that allowed me to create greater awareness of the reality of life in the world overall.
Extensive use of audiovisual media generated more than 10 group exhibitions and 2 was performed at the individual level; all these exhibitions were a great help when I need speak in public. Individual exposure was greatest pleasure was to "Roger Federer" where the past tense was used.
The only element I highlight improvement is the use of textbooks, both were employed in poor shape. However, the themes were developed creatively and achieving the targets.
Regarding the teacher, I can refer to a great person, excellent use of English, very concerned to correct grammatical and linguistic mistakes committed, very respectful of the student point to get to class and familiar with using virtual media.
Finally, the English course I allowed to develop linguistic, grammatical and syntactical tools in this important and universal language.
